Option 1: I Already Have QuickBooks Online (QBOL)

• Best for: Businesses that already maintain an active QuickBooks Online subscription.

• How it works: You keep your existing account and simply grant MK&A Accountant’s Access so we can seamlessly manage your monthly bookkeeping.

• What to expect: No new software subscriptions or setup fees are required on your end.

Option 2: New to QuickBooks Online (QBOL)

• Best for: Businesses looking for cloud-based accounting that they can access anytime, anywhere.

• How it works: You set up a new QuickBooks Online account directly with Intuit, and we link our professional access to handle your books.

• Key details:

  • Intuit Subscription Fee: Intuit charges a monthly subscription fee for QBOL, typically ranging from $30 to $90 per month depending on the plan you choose.

  • One-Time Setup Fee: A one-time $250 QuickBooks setup fee applies to new accounts. This covers 3 to 6 hours of professional configuration by our team to properly set up your bookkeeping file based on your business complexity.

Option 3: QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) — Hosted for FREE by MK&A

• Best for: Small business owners who are not comfortable with cloud-based software or who do not actively use QuickBooks in their daily operations.

• How it works: MK&A hosts your QuickBooks Desktop file at no cost so you don’t have to worry about software licenses or local installations.

• Key details:

  • One-Time Setup Fee: A one-time $250 QuickBooks setup fee applies to configure your desktop file.

  • Professional Configuration: This setup typically takes 3 to 6 hours to get your file structured correctly from day one.
