MK&A QuickBooks Options For Bookkeeping Clients

At Moshe Klein & Associates Ltd., we want every client to choose the QuickBooks platform that best supports their business. Please review the options below and select the version that fits your needs.

QuickBooks Platform Options

☐ Option 1: I Already Have a QBOL Account

I have an active QuickBooks Online account with Intuit and will grant MK&A Accountant’s Access for monthly bookkeeping services.


☐ Option 2:NEW QuickBooks Online (QBOL) User

I will set up a new QBOL account directly with Intuit and will grant MK&A Accountant’s Access so they can provide monthly bookkeeping services.

QBOL is often the easier choice for small business owners because it lets you access your books from anywhere and keeps everything updated automatically. However, if you don’t expect to use the additional features of QBOL—such as mobile access, app integrations, or real‑time bank feeds—it may make more sense to choose Option 3 (QuickBooks Desktop hosted by MK&A).

Please note that Intuit charges a monthly subscription fee for QBOL, which typically ranges from $30 to $90 per month, depending on the plan you select.


☐ Option 3: QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) – Hosted by MK&A for FREE

This option is ideal for small business owners who are not familiar or comfortable with cloud‑based software and who do not use QuickBooks in their daily operations. MK&A will host my QBDT file at no cost.

One‑Time QuickBooks Setup Fee

If you select Option 2 or Option 3, a one‑time $250 QuickBooks setup fee will apply.

About the One‑Time $250 QuickBooks Setup Fee:

For clients who are new to QuickBooks, MK&A charges a one‑time $250 setup fee to professionally configure your bookkeeping file. This setup typically takes 3–6 hours, depending on the complexity of your business.
